President’s Message
As I humbly take on the responsibility of serving as President of the Rotaract Club of Iganga for the year 2025–2026, I do so with a deep sense of purpose and unwavering belief in the power of young people to shape the future of our communities.
This year, under the Rotary International theme “Unite for Good”, we are reminded that true change begins when we bring people together—across backgrounds, professions, and beliefs—for the greater good. It’s a theme that speaks directly to our identity as Rotaractors and to our mission here in Busoga.
Our community is rich in culture, spirit, and resilience—but it is also challenged by gaps in healthcare, education, and opportunity. As a youth leader deeply rooted in both healthcare and communication, I have witnessed firsthand how small, coordinated acts of service can restore dignity, heal pain, and ignite hope. This year, our club will focus on delivering high-impact, people-centered projects that address real needs—from health outreaches and mental wellness campaigns to mentorship programs and environmental action.
But more than projects, we will build partnerships. We will unite schools, health workers, local leaders, and youth to design solutions that are inclusive, sustainable, and scalable. Our strength is in our unity, and our impact lies in our ability to mobilize hearts and hands.
To all Rotaractors, Rotarians, partners, and friends—we invite you to journey with us. This is our moment not just to serve, but to lead. Not just to respond, but to reimagine.
Let’s unite for good. Let’s serve with compassion. And let’s continue building a legacy that our region—and the world—can be proud of.

About Club
Chartered on 16th May 2016, the Rotaract Club of Iganga is a dynamic, youth-led organization committed to leadership, professional growth, and community service. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Iganga, we empower young people between the ages of 18 and 35 to lead change through impactful projects in health, education, the environment, and youth empowerment.
With a committed membership of 30 active members, our club continues to grow in both reach and influence. The club’s foundation was laid by Charter President Mukoti Sayid, whose vision for youth-led transformation remains at the heart of all we do.

Each administration has championed impactful service and built strong partnerships within and beyond the Busoga region.
Part of a Global Movement
Rotaract is a program of Rotary International, connecting more than 10,000 clubs across over 180 countries and territories. It provides a platform for young people to develop their leadership and professional skills while addressing the world’s most pressing issues through community-based action.
Rotaractors gain global exposure, mentorship, and the opportunity to collaborate on life-changing projects while building lifelong friendships.
When and Where We Meet
We fellowship every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sol View Hotel, Iganga. Our meetings are a space for planning service, learning, mentorship, and meaningful connections. Visitors and potential members are always welcome!
